Since March 10, 2014 ArcelorMittal Poland employees from Dąbrowa Górnicza and Sosnowiec have been given access to rehabilitation programs in renovated and modern facilities in the rehabilitation center UNIMED (main entrance next to the ER room). According to the 2014 Social Benefits Fund provisions on preventive healthcare, employees, who have been working in special conditions or have been performing work of special nature for at least 60 months before submitting the application for rehabilitation program or employees, who had been working in special conditions or had been performing work of special nature for at least 15 years, as well as employees aged 50 or over, are entitled to two rehabilitation services, including one off-site and one-site program, or two on-site programs (10 days, 3 procedures per day). Partner travel agency is responsible for formal processing of employee applications.

Rehabilitation services are also available to other AMP employees and their families – as per the price list for AMP employees (tab: documents) – requires completing the formalities with UNIMED.

The offer of the Rehabilitation and Wellness Center also includes commercial services – as per the price list of paid rehabilitation services (tab: documents) – not covered by the National Health Fund contract. Waiting time will be reduced to minimum. Patients will be provided with free access to doctors, rehabilitation specialists, who will select procedures matching patient’s health condition.
