Half of the year is the time of summaries in foundations that submit their reports to various institutions and offices. At the Health Protection Foundation, we have summarized not only the year 2018, but also the first half of 2019.

• PREVENTIVE MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS:

During the first six months of the current year, we carried out the following check-up campaigns: the so-called general package, obesity package and hormone package for women. Not only donators and entitled  members of their families could have benefited from the examinations, the employees of ArcelorMittal Poland and subsidiaries as well as companies that care for health of their employees were also recipients of the above mentioned actions.

We examined 594 people, and the budget spent amounted to over 48 000 PLN.

• REFUNDS:

The reimbursement of medicines, examinations, equipment and rehabilitation services takes place in an unchanged form: for the first half of the year, the amount of support amounted to over 206 000 PLN, and the Patient's Service Office handled a total of almost 2 100 applications.

• We have supported health care facilities with a total amount of over 100 000 PLN.

The FOZ team invokes the words of Archibald Joseph Cronin, a Scottish doctor and writer who used to say  that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", which is why we remind you today about a healthy lifestyle:

• wholesome diet,

• proper regeneration of the body,

• physical activity,

• and regular check-ups.
